Discover nature through experience

Do you have a strong sense of discovery? Then go on a journey through the museum with one of our themed suitcases. Have you always wanted to stroke a wild boar? Then drop by the nature lab. For researchers with a penchant for stones and crystals, the geological laboratory offers a wide range of material. And as part of the animal stories, head trips to foreign (micro)worlds are possible. Look out for our mascot, Pica the magpie, in the museum. She knows where there are exciting things to experience!

We present the current program in our Pica newsletter and in the Pica - offers for families & children (folded poster). The program poster is available at the cash desk - where the discovery cases are stationed.

On the back of the printed program flyer there is a quiz or a scavenger hunt through the museum: you can report the solution at the museum reception and collect a small prize. Good luck!
