Updated on 09.09.2021:
Our protective measures are based on federal and cantonal requirements and are continuously adapted to current circumstances:
From Monday, 13 September 2021 (until probably 24 January 2022), it will be compulsory for all persons aged 16 and over to hold a 3G certificate in the museum and also for all events. Vaccinated, recovered or tested persons please have their certificate (QR code) and ID ready for museum admission.
School groups: Schoolchildren aged 12 to 16 must wear a mask and pupils aged 16 and over, as well as teachers and accompanying persons, must present a COVID certificate.
The limited admission capacities have been lifted. Nevertheless, there may be waiting times in bad weather, at weekends and on weekdays between 1 and 3 pm. We ask for your understanding.
We still recommend wearing protective masks.
Consumption of drinks and food from the cafeteria is permitted at the available tables indoors and outdoors.
Picnicking is permitted in our picnic area on the 1st and 3rd floor as well as in the garden.
We place a high value on implementing hygiene and spacing measures. We also ask visitors to comply with the known rules of the FOPH.
Please keep your distance from other visitors and stay at home if you feel ill.
We thank you for following the instructions of our staff.
